A Word from our Presiding Bishop

Grace and peace to you as we enter this new year of discipleship and devotion.

It is with gratitude and prayerful expectation that I commend to you this 2026 Discipleship Journal, centered on

the theme EXECUTION. This journal is offered as a sacred companion for the journey ahead. Our journey is one that calls us not only to discern God’s will but to faithfully walk it out through obedience, trust, and daily surrender.

Jamila and I are deeply thankful for the team that prayerfully contributed to this work. Their faithfulness, insight, and commitment to spiritual formation have shaped these devotionals with care, theological depth, and pastoral sensitivity. I am grateful for their labor and their willingness to serve the people of God in this way.

As you engage these pages throughout the year, may you be strengthened to move from intention to action, from hearing to doing, and from calling to faithful execution. May the Holy Spirit guide your steps, order your days, and grant you grace to walk boldly in all that God has entrusted to you.

May this year be marked by obedience, growth, and the joy of walking in God’s purpose—together.
